Yeah, I messaged Max Brallier a few months ago, and that is what he told me.  Plus, most people are hoping for a new release of the comics.  However, I want to see the story reach somewhat of a conclusion myself.  I'm with you guys.

I think it's really cool, my theories based on the cover art are the antagonist will be a warg-like creature, due to all the eyes, jack gets an absolutely sick hooded cape(let) at one point, it also almost looks like he's holding something, but my main theory is about the cosmic hand. it looks like it has evolved more, almost like a symbiote, and jack's eyes look foggy, almost like it's not him... IDK THOUGH! THESE ARE JUST THEORIES!

The eyes in the background look Amarelda's eyes(book 9) when she hears Shuggoth's name. So maybe they find shuggoth and defeat rezzoch and they find their parents
