About Darkki
I'm Mika Salovaara, the founder and long-time administrator of Risingshadow. I've been developing the site since 1996, while following the world of fantasy and science fiction literature for nearly three decades. As a reader, I'm especially drawn to epic fantasy and science fiction, and what continues to inspire me about Risingshadow is discovering new books, authors, and stories.
