I so thoroughly enjoyed this book when I read it, a completely enjoyable creepy collection of horror tales from America’s very best genre writers. As anyone who is very familiar with the book knows, some stories have become movies, such as Children of the Corn, Graveyard Shift and Sometimes They Come Back. But not only will you still enjoy these terrifying stories, you’ll also find others that are just as good and scary, including I Am the Doorway, Strawberry Spring and One for the Road. Heads up to fans of Stephen King’s novel Salem’s Lot or any of its film adaptations: One for the Road is “mini-sequel” to the book.
