Earth astronaut Cirocco "Rocky" Jones and her crew are shipwrecked on Gaea, a titanic, sentient artificial satellite of Saturn with her own ecology and inhabitants. The fauna of Gaea include dirigible-like flying creatures and a race of sapient centauroids, the Titanides.
